Hours: 42.5/week (Mon-Fri)

Actaris is seeking an HR and Compliance Manager.

Our client is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care through innovation, compassion, and adherence to the highest quality and compliance standards. Job Purpose:

The HR and Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management and ensuring the organisation's adherence to various accreditation and regulatory standards, including but not limited to the CQC, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, NHS Data Protection Security Toolkit, and QSI. This role involves managing recruitment, developing HR policies, conducting compliance audits, and ensuring that all governance structures are aligned with the required standards. The HR and Compliance Manager will be appointed as the nominated person for CQC.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources Management:

* Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

* Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.

* Oversee employee relations, performance management, training, and development programs.

* Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practices.

* Maintain employee records and manage HR databases with up-to-date information.

Compliance Management:

* Ensure the organisation adheres to all relevant regulatory and accreditation standards, including CQC, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, NHS Data Protection Security Toolkit, and QSI.

* Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to meet accreditation and regulatory requirements.

* Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance across all governance structures.

* Prepare and submit required documentation for accreditation and regulatory bodies.

* Manage and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of any findings or non-compliance issues.

* Achieve registration with TIC for QSI and Cyber Essentials Plus as a priority.

* Liaise with external compliance contractors to ensure all requirements are met.

Training and Development:

* Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on compliance requirements and best practices.

* Keep up-to-date with legislation, accreditation standards, and industry best practices, and communicate these changes to relevant stakeholders.

Reporting and Documentation:

* Prepare detailed reports on compliance activities, audit findings, and HR metrics for senior management.

* Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation related to HR and compliance activities.

Skills and Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.

* Proven experience in HR management and compliance roles, preferably within the healthcare sector.

* In-depth knowledge of accreditation standards and regulatory requirements, including CQC, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, NHS Data Protection Security Toolkit, and QSI.

* Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.

* Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

* Proficiency in HR software and compliance management tools.
