Description
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, advertising vacancies, screening candidates and coordinating interviews.
Act as the main HR point of contact for apprentices and contractors, including support relating to IR35 requirements.
Maintain and update employee records, HR systems and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Support onboarding activities for new employees and contractors.
Assist with the implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures.
Coordinate learning, training and development programmes across the business.
Ensure employee data and HR documentation are maintained accurately and compliantly.
Support managers and employees with day-to-day HR queries and employee relations matters.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies and best practice.
Provide general HR administration and support across the wider HR functionProfile
We are looking for an HR professional who can quickly integrate into a growing technical and engineering-focused environment.
You will ideally have:
CIPD Level 5 qualification (Level 3 considered with relevant experience).
Previous experience in a HR Generalist or HR Officer position.
Experience within a similar-sized organisation, ideally a multinational business.
Exposure to engineering, manufacturing, industrial, energy, utilities, automation or project-based environments would be highly advantageous.
Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
The ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience managing recruitment and supporting organisational growth.
Job Offer
A salary of £40,000 to £44,000, dependent on the level of experience.
Permanent position based in Runcorn.
