Looking for an HR role where no two days are the same?
We're partnered with a leading UK food manufacturer to recruit an experienced HR Advisor to join their growing HR team. This is a newly created role, offering the opportunity to support multiple operational sites across manufacturing, transport and agriculture.

Working Arrangements
Monday to Thursday: 08:45 - 17:00
Friday: 08:45 - 15:45
Predominantly site-based
One day working from home may be available once established in the role (subject to business needs)

Reporting into the HR Manager, you'll provide proactive HR support across a number of operational business areas, partnering with managers to deliver practical, commercially focused HR solutions.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same, combining employee relations, people development, engagement and project work within an exceptionally fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Advise and coach managers on employment law, HR policies and best practice
Manage employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management
Build trusted relationships with operational managers across multiple sites
Support employee engagement initiatives, wellbeing activities and recognition programmes
Maintain accurate HR records and ensure data integrity within SAP
Work alongside Learning & Development to support training compliance
Assist with ethical, customer and compliance audits, ensuring the business remains audit-ready
Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Champion company values, diversity and inclusion across the business About You
Essential:
CIPD Level 3 qualified (minimum)
Previous HR Advisor experience within food manufacturing, FMCG manufacturing or another high-volume manufacturing environment
Strong employee relations experience with the confidence to manage casework independently
Good understanding of UK employment legislation
Experience partnering with operational managers
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities We may also consider applicants from:
Large-scale logistics or distribution businesses where you've supported large operational workforces in a fast-paced environment. Please Note
This is a predominantly site-based HR role supporting operational teams. Previous HR experience within food manufacturing is strongly preferred. Candidates from large-scale logistics or distribution operations may also be considered where they've worked within fast-paced operational environments.
Unfortunately, applicants whose HR experience is limited to sectors such as retail, hospitality, education, charities or office-based professional services are unlikely to have the operational exposure required for this position.
