HR Advisor

Are you an experienced HR professional with a strong background in employee relations and a passion for supporting organisational success? This is a great opportunity to bring your expertise to a key role supporting operational HR and systems improvements.

Please note this is a Fixed Term Contract until March 2028.

HR Advisor Responsibilities

This position will involve, but will not be limited to:

Advising managers and staff on a wide range of employee relations issues, including performance, disciplinary, grievance, and absence management to ensure practical, compliant outcomes.
Managing and analysing workforce data, creating reports, and supporting process improvements using HR systems.
Supporting the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to promote best practice.
Leading system enhancements and contributing to continuous improvements in HR data and reporting processes.
Providing guidance on employment legislation and ensuring HR activity aligns with legal and organisational standards.
Coaching managers on employee relations issues and influencing positive organisational outcomes.
Assisting with HR projects and initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational effectiveness.
HR Advisor Rewards

Up to £43,100 depending on experience.

HR Advisor Experience Essentials

Proven experience advising managers and employees on employee relations issues.
Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
Experience working with HR systems, workforce data, and reporting tools.
CIPD qualification or equivalent preferred.
Experience with Power BI or data visualisation tools is desirable.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and coaching skills.
Analytical mindset with willingness to learn and improve processes.
Ability to work independently and handle a varied workload.
Location

This role is based in Oxford with flexible hybrid working. You will need to be onsite twice per week, including Thursdays, with parking available and accessible transport links.
