Position: HR Advisor
Location: Egham
Salary: 32,000 to 38,000
Duration: permanent
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm, 2 days in the office 3 at home
This role is to provide professional human resources support and advice to a number of departments as well as acting as a member of the wider Human Resources Operational Team. You will need as a minimum CIPD level 3.
The role holder will play a key role in providing consistent, accurate and timely human resources advice and support on a day to day basis liaising with human resources colleagues, including other members of operations, reward and benefits, training and development and the Business Partners, as appropriate. Working closely with a range of managers and administrative colleagues the postholder will need to develop strong and effective working relationships to be successful and be prepared to challenge and recognise when to seek assistance as appropriate.
The post holder will use a range of human resources systems including the Human Resources and Payroll system, ResourceLink, and on-line recruitment system, Stonefish, inputting data, providing advice and support on the grading of posts using the clients formal job evaluation scheme and generating and signing documentation where applicable. The postholder will be a member of the Human Resources Operations team inputting and leading on, as applicable, project and process work as directed. The post holder will be required to be based in the office for two days per week.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong human resources operations experience and advisory skills and their application, excellent attention to detail and significant working knowledge of employment law. Experience of successfully using an online HR and Payroll and online recruitment system are required for this role together with a good understanding, and ideally application of a recognised job evaluation scheme. Some experience of designing and improving policies and processes and successfully implementing improvements is required for these positions together with a good working knowledge of rewards and benefits matters.
