Anderson Knight is delighted to be partnering with a respected organisation in Lanarkshire to recruit an experienced HR Adviser on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a values-driven organisation that makes a genuine difference within the community. Working as part of a supportive HR team, you will play a key role in providing expert employee relations support, helping managers navigate a range of people matters while promoting fair, consistent and positive employee experiences.

The Role

Reporting to the HR team, you will be responsible for delivering practical and professional employee relations advice across the organisation. You will work closely with managers and stakeholders to manage a varied caseload, ensuring matters are handled effectively, sensitively and in line with employment legislation and organisational policies.

This role would suit an experienced HR professional who enjoys building strong relationships, providing trusted advice and supporting managers through a range of employee relations challenges.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage a varied employee relations caseload, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance, capability and conduct matters.

* Provide clear, practical guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations issues.

* Support and lead investigations, hearings and appeals as required.

* Ensure all cases are handled in line with current employment legislation, organisational policies and best practice.

* Prepare accurate documentation, reports and case records.

* Identify trends and recurring issues, providing recommendations to support continuous improvement.

* Work collaboratively with HR colleagues to deliver a consistent and positive approach to people management.

* Contribute to the development and review of HR policies, procedures and ways of working.

About You

We are keen to speak with candidates who have:

* CIPD qualification is essential

* Previous experience in an Employee Relations, HR Adviser or HR Business Partner role with significant ER responsibility.

* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.

* Experience managing employee relations cases from end to end.

* The ability to build credibility and influence managers at all levels.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

* A calm, professional and solutions-focused approach to handling sensitive situations.

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
