Job Title: HR Administrator
Location: Home-based
Salary: £32,406
Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, 8.30am-5pm
Contract Type: 6 Month FTC
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced HR Administrator to join our client, a leading provider of housing solutions, on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a fully remote role where you’ll play a key part in supporting a busy HR function across the employee lifecycle, helping to deliver a smooth, accurate, and people-focused service.
Working closely with the HR Advisor and wider People Team, you’ll be involved in a wide range of HR activity, from onboarding and payroll support through to compliance and employee records.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage HR administration across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining accurate employee records
* Support payroll processes by ensuring employee changes are accurately recorded and processed on time
* Assist with compliance checks including DBS and Right to Work documentation
* Maintain and update HR systems (Sage HR), supporting data accuracy, reporting, and audits
* Provide administrative support across absence monitoring, probation reviews, references, and general HR queries
* Act as a first point of contact for HR system and process queries, escalating where appropriate
* Support HR casework and formal meetings, including disciplinary and grievance processes, including note-taking
* Assist with HR documentation, including policies, procedures, and Process Guides
* Work collaboratively with the HR team to support wider projects and service improvements

Required Skills
* Previous experience working as an HR Administrator
* Experience supporting the full employee lifecycle, including DBS and Right to Work processing
* CIPD Level 3 (completed or working towards)
* Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and confidence handling confidential information
* Comfortable working independently in a remote role while working effectively with colleagues
* Experience using HR systems (e.g. Sage HR) and Microsoft Office
