An excellent opportunity has been made available by my client an established housing provider in the UK. My client has a large portfolio of supported living projects and offers generic housing management and supported housing services.
Vacancy Brief:
* The job role is that of a Housing Team Leader.
* This is a potential temp to perm vacancy.
* A full-time role, 37.5 hours per week
* Work pattern is Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
* Pay rate for this vacancy is £14.00 PAYE or £17.85 Umbrella.
* A current Enhanced DBS covering Adult and Child workforce will be required for this job role.
* Full UK Drivers license and access to a vehicle is needed.
* This vacancy will entail the responsibility for 8 staff members.
* The number of bed spaces managed is 12 single occupancy supported accommodation and a 5 bed service within close proximity and 2 dispersed houses.
The Responsibilities:
* In your job role as a Housing Team Leader, you will be required to identify, develop and maintain positive relationships with key partners, local stakeholders and complementary agencies to ensure the service has an excellent local and regional profile in line with the Statement of Purpose
* An important part of your job role will be to provide first line management and supervise a small team of staff to ensure that young people receive person centred support within the organisation’s accommodation in accordance with people policies, statement of purpose and OFSTED standards.
* As a Housing Team Leader, you will have considerable direct impact on well-being of individuals or groups of people. This means that you will also have a considerable direct responsibility for supervision, direction and coordination or training and development of other employee(s) in one site.
* Furthermore, in your job role as a Housing Team Leader, you will be required to supervise a team within a supported accommodation environment where young people are vulnerable and have multiple needs.
