Housing Systems Analyst

Senior Systems Analyst – East Suffolk Council
Hybrid / East Suffolk

This role sits within the Digital team, supporting a well-established Housing function that has already undergone significant digital transformation.

The Role

We’re looking for a technical lead with strong experience across IT business systems, ideally within local government housing.

You’ll be responsible for:

* Working closely with Project Managers / Business Analysts to translate business requirements into system solutions

* Leading on the implementation and optimisation of key housing systems

* Supporting ongoing digital transformation across the service

* Providing specialist knowledge and guidance to the wider team

* Supporting system upgrades, new module implementations, and process improvements

* Liaising with software suppliers and stakeholders to ensure delivery stays on track

* Driving best practice across system use, integration, and adoption

Key Systems / Experience

Experience with the below is highly desirable:

* Total Mobile (Connect, Mobilise)

* Civica (Keystone)

* MRI (Orchard Enterprise & Assets)

Additional experience welcomed:

* Systems migrations and integrations

* Working across both on-premise and SaaS platforms

* Microsoft SQL Server

* Progress OpenEdge databases

What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience working with complex business systems

* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

* Ability to lead technically while supporting and upskilling a team

* Experience within housing / local authority environments (preferred)

* A proactive approach to improving systems and processes
