Job Opportunity: Housing Support Worker
Location: East London
DBS Level: Enhanced Adult
Service Users: Service users to be confirmed upon location confirmation
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday (8am-4pm / 2pm-10pm), 1 Saturday a month
Car Driver Requirement: Yes
Own Vehicle Requirement: Yes
Valid Business Insurance: Yes
Are you passionate about supporting individuals in need? We are seeking a dedicated Housing Support Worker to join our team in East London. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our service users.
Main Duties of the Role:
Plan and deliver effective support and safety plans for service users, referring to specialist agencies as needed.
Ensure properties are well-equipped, maintained, furnished, and cleaned at all times.
Support residents in understanding their responsibilities to maintain their current and future accommodation.
Empower and motivate service users to identify and achieve their desired outcomes.
Develop move-on plans with service users, identifying realistic options for their future housing.
Additional Information:
This role may involve lone working.
Some working from home may be required.
The Housing Support Worker will be responsible for overseeing 3-4 properties.
