£35 per hour
Initial 3-Month Contract
Hybrid Working - 1 Day per Week On-Site
Duty Cover Twice Per Week
Park Avenue Recruitment are currently working with a Local Authority in Hampshire who are looking for an experienced Housing Options Officer to join their team on an initial 3-month interim contract.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Housing Options Officer who is confident managing complex homelessness cases and can hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
The role:
Managing a caseload of complex Housing Options and homelessness cases.
Completing homelessness assessments in line with the Housing Act 1996 Part VII and Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.
Producing and progressing Personalised Housing Plans.
Making homelessness decisions and progressing cases through to resolution.
Providing duty cover twice per week.
Working through more challenging or longstanding cases and helping reduce caseload pressures within the service.
Liaising with applicants, landlords, support agencies and internal teams to prevent and relieve homelessness.
What we're looking for:
You will need previous experience working within a Local Authority Housing Options/Homelessness service and be confident handling complex cases independently. Any prior Hampshire experience is desired.
The role offers £35 per hour, with only 1 day per week required on-site in Hampshire, on an initial 3-month contract.
