Housing Officer (ASB Focus)
Location: Midlands
Contract: Temporary (Initial 3 Months)
Working Pattern: Full-Time | Hybrid Working (2 Days Home-Based, 3 Days On-Site)
An established Housing Association is seeking an experienced Housing Officer to join their Housing Management team on an initial 3-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional with strong tenancy management and anti-social behaviour (ASB) experience to make an immediate impact within a busy and customer-focused service.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a range of tenancy and estate management issues
* Leading on Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) cases, including investigations and resolution
* Handling cases involving harassment, neighbour disputes, and tenancy breaches
* Managing successions, assignments, and unauthorised occupation matters
* Carrying out estate inspections and identifying health and safety concerns
* Conducting tenancy sign-ups and supporting new tenants
* Processing transfer requests and mutual exchange applications
* Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring compliance with housing policies and procedures
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will have:
* Previous Housing Management experience within a Housing Association, Local Authority, or similar organisation
* Proven experience managing ASB cases
* Strong knowledge of housing legislation, landlord and tenant law, and ASB case management
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and case management skills
* The ability to manage a varied caseload and work to deadlines
* A full driving licence and access to transport (or another suitable means of travel)
