Description:
Peace Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Housing Officer to join a well-established housing organisation in Fife on a temporary contract for an initial 3–6 months.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive housing professional who can hit the ground running and deliver a high-quality housing management service.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a designated housing patch and providing a comprehensive housing management service.
* Conducting estate inspections and tenancy visits.
* Investigating and resolving anti-social behaviour cases.
* Managing tenancy sustainment, arrears support, and neighbourhood issues.
* Allocating properties and supporting new tenancy sign-ups.
* Liaising with tenants, contractors, support agencies, and internal departments.
* Ensuring compliance with housing legislation and organisational policies.
* Maintaining accurate case records and preparing reports where required.
Essential Requirements
* Previous experience working as a Housing Officer or in a similar housing management role.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.
* A current PVG Scheme membership
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to manage a varied caseload and work independently.
* Strong IT and administrative skills.
