Are you an experienced Housing Officer looking to join an organisation where you can genuinely make a difference?

We're recruiting on behalf of a long-established charitable housing provider that supports adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health conditions across supported living accommodation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, supportive team managing a local portfolio of around 40-45 properties across the Croydon area. Unlike many Housing Officer roles, you'll work alongside dedicated care teams, allowing you to focus on delivering an excellent housing management service while still making a real difference to people's lives.

About the Company Our client is a well-established specialist housing provider with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality supported accommodation to vulnerable adults.

Working within a close-knit team, you'll play an important role in ensuring residents are able to live safely and independently whilst maintaining high standards across the housing portfolio.

The organisation is currently investing in improving processes and strengthening its housing function, making this an exciting time to join and contribute to its next stage of development.

What You Will Be Doing
Managing a portfolio of approximately 40-45 supported housing properties across the Croydon area.
Building positive relationships with tenants and supporting them with all housing-related matters.
Undertaking tenancy management, estate inspections and property visits.
Managing housing benefit and rent-related queries.
Ensuring properties remain compliant with relevant housing legislation and internal standards.
Identifying maintenance issues and working closely with internal teams and contractors.
Carrying out routine health and safety inspections across the property portfolio.
Working collaboratively with on-site care teams to ensure residents receive the appropriate support.
Maintaining accurate records and updating internal housing systems. What You Will Need
Previous experience working as a Housing Officer or within a similar housing management role.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A proactive and organised approach to managing your own workload.
Full UK Driving Licence. What's on Offer?
