About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Housing Team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a rewarding career within the housing sector, supporting customers and helping to deliver an efficient and effective housing service.
The successful candidate will provide housing advice and guidance, assess housing applications, manage housing records, and work closely with colleagues and partner services to support customers with a range of housing-related enquiries.
Please note that the role requires office attendance five days per week during the initial training and induction period. Following successful completion of training, this will reduce to three days per week in the office, subject to business needs and service requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide advice and assistance to customers via telephone, email, and written correspondence.
* Assess and process housing applications in line with relevant policies and procedures.
* Maintain accurate customer records and update application details as required.
* Support the administration of housing-related processes and services.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to achieve positive customer outcomes.
* Ensure all work is completed in line with relevant legislation, policies, and data protection requirements.
* Deliver a high standard of customer service while managing a varied caseload.

Desirable Skills & Experience
* Previous experience within housing, local government, customer service, or a similar administrative environment.
* Knowledge of housing legislation and housing-related services.
* Understanding of data protection and confidentiality requirements.
* A housing-related qualification or willingness to undertake professional development
