Housing Officer

Job Type: Temporary, Hybrid (Flexible Working)
We are recruiting on behalf of a prominent housing provider for a Housing Officer to manage and coordinate housing and estate services within a defined geographical patch in Chalkhill, London. This role requires a proactive individual who can drive and is committed to delivering high-standard services that meet the diverse needs of customers.
Day-to-day of the role:
Develop and maintain local multi-agency links to deliver efficient, coordinated services.
Manage complaints effectively and maintain high customer service standards.
Engage with local stakeholders and respond to enquiries from MPs, Councillors, and other stakeholders.
Lead tenant and resident associations, ensuring satisfactory outcomes for residents and the organisation.
Conduct regular estate inspections and monitor service contracts to ensure high standards.
Manage complex tenancy and lease-related issues, including handling anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases and tenancy enforcement.
Conduct viewings, manage new tenancy sign-ups, and ensure the well-being of new customers.Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience managing Leasehold & shared ownership tenures.
Knowledge of housing and anti-social behaviour related legislation, including service charges.
Ability to build and sustain working relationships with key stakeholders.
Proven record of delivering excellent customer-focused services.
