About the role

Haringey Council's Housing Delivery team is leading on the delivery of the Council's number one priority programme. Our programme covers a broad range of housing schemes, from small infill sites to large, complex development projects. With work underway or completed on over 2,000 homes and a pipeline of new schemes to progress we are looking for talented Engagement Officer to join us to deliver high-quality, sustainable Council homes and grow our development pipeline. This is an exciting role within an ambitious and supportive team who are focused on delivering the first Council homes for a generation and providing our residents with real choice and opportunity.

About you

We are looking for Engagements Officers to be part of our team. Candidates should understand how to communicate and engage with residents effectively, with experienced preferred in running statutory consultation programmes, community focused engagement programmes and co-design exercises. The ideal candidate should be comfortable using both digital and print channels, including overseeing the production of newsletters, consultation documents and web hubs. Strong writing skills are essential. Most importantly they should have a passion for social housing, aspiring to deliver homes with the highest quality of design and sustainability for Haringey’s residents. Above all, they must be motivated to join a high-achieving team that is committed to supporting one another in delivering successful projects
