Anti-Social Behaviour Officer
Temporary on-going contract - Minimum 3 months
Hybrid working - combination of home, office and patch based working
Full-Time (37 hours per week)
£25.00 per hour - negotiable depending on experience level.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Anti-Social Behaviour Officer to join a Housing and Community Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional with experience of managing anti-social behaviour cases and working with residents to create safer, stronger communities.

You will manage a varied caseload of ASB complaints, investigate incidents, work closely with residents and partner agencies, and take appropriate enforcement and preventative action to resolve issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of anti-social behaviour cases from initial report through to resolution.
Investigate complaints promptly, gathering evidence through interviews, witness statements, diary sheets, CCTV, and other appropriate methods.
Assess risk and provide support to victims of anti-social behaviour.
Develop and implement action plans to resolve cases using early intervention, mediation, and enforcement where appropriate.
Prepare legal documentation and work with legal services on injunctions, possession proceedings, and other enforcement action.
Liaise with police, local authorities, support agencies, environmental health, and other partners to achieve positive outcomes.
Attend resident meetings, court hearings, and multi-agency meetings as required.The successful candidate will have:

Experience managing anti-social behaviour or tenancy enforcement cases within a housing environment.
Good knowledge of relevant housing legislation, ASB legislation, and safeguarding responsibilities.
Excellent investigation, interviewing, and problem-solving skills.
Experience preparing legal documentation and supporting court action.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage challenging situations professionally.To apply, please submit your CV outlining your relevant experience.
