Description:
Our local authority are looking for a Housing Assistant (Housing Benefits and Planning) to join them on a temporary basis.
Location – LE67
£13.29ph - £15.75ph
Office working role.
Ideally, the candidate must have experience of working in Social Housing.
Core responsibilities:
To provide the first point of contact for customers in relation to all aspects of Housing Management and provide administrative support to the Housing Management team.
* Daily contact with tenants and their representatives concerning any aspect of Housing Management and conditions of tenancy.
* To have knowledge of policies and procedures for dealing with breaches of conditions of tenancy, particularly anti-social behavior and rent arrears in order to assist the Housing Officers to provide advice and information to customers.
* To undertake all aspects of the Right to Buy and Mutual Exchange cases, including the property inspection.
