Duration: 31/08/2026-13/09/2026

Time: 9:00am-5:30pm Monday to Sunday (including some weekends)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

About the Role Are you looking for a temporary summer role where no two days are the same? We are currently looking for Housekeeper to join a busy student accommodation site over the summer period.

You'll play an important role in helping to ensure the accommodation and communal areas are clean, safe, welcoming and maintained to a high standard for residents, visitors and staff.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in their work and is happy to get stuck in wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across student accommodation.
Cleaning bedrooms, communal areas, kitchens, corridors, stairwells and other shared facilities.
Carrying out deep cleans and turnaround cleans when required.
Identifying and reporting any damage, maintenance issues or missing items.
Supporting the housekeeping, maintenance and wider site teams with day-to-day tasks.
Ensuring cleaning materials and supplies are used safely and appropriately.
Following all relevant health & safety procedures and site guidelines.
Responding professionally and courteously to resident and customer queries.
Working efficiently to meet daily cleaning schedules and deadlines.
Adapting to changing priorities during busy periods.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Friendly and approachable, with a positive can-do attitude.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
Organised, with excellent attention to detail.
Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet for the majority of the working day.
Confident communicating with residents, colleagues and site teams.
Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks.
Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, hospitality, facilities, hotels, residential properties or student accommodation is desirable but not essential.
