Description:
Housekeeping Assistant required for a summer job at a residential activity centre near Bideford in North Devon.
Monday to Friday,
£12 per hour
10 minutes’ drive from Bideford, 20 minutes’ drive from Westward Ho!, free parking on site
Temporary role for Summer period
About the role
Working as part of a team and reporting to a housekeeping manager
Cleaning of guest accommodation – vacuuming, dusting, changing bed linen
Daily cleaning of toilets, showers and changing areas
Keeping all front of house and communal areas are clean and tidy
Assist in other departments as required (Catering, Maintenance and Retail)
Some manual handling - lifting and pulling - required as part of the role
The right candidate
Own transport is essential to reach this location
Excellent communication skills, as you’ll be working alongside guests, visitors and other employees
Previous experience in a similar role like cleaner, housekeeper or hygiene operative
