Housekeeper/Kitchen Assistant

We have a new vacancy for a Housekeeper/ Kitchen Assistant at our Glensanda Quarry in Oban. This role has a 7 days on, 7 days off shift pattern starting at 8AM on Wednesday and ending 7.30AM next Wednesday, and there is a requirement for the applicant to live on site whilst on shift.

Reporting to the Canteen / Accommodation Supervisor, you will be a team member and responsible for efficiently carrying out your duties in a safe manner, as per company policy and guidelines. The accommodation block, Glensanda House and the office areas are to be cleaned to a high standard, including bedrooms, communal areas, gym and canteen / kitchen. You will Wash, dry and store linen and laundry for distribution to accommodation rooms.

You will maintain and use a stock of cleaning materials making sure that COSHH guidance is used. You will assist the Chef as and when required. You will also assist with receipt and storage of stock deliveries, and with the cleaning of the Kitchen and the equipment. You will assist with room bookings for the on-site accommodation, meal bookings and any other duties within your competence.
