The Burford Recruitment Company are delighted to be working on behalf of a Private Client who are seeking a friendly and capable Housekeeper to join their dedicated household team at an historic Manor House in the Cotswolds.
As well as experienced private housekeepers, this role is open to candidates who have come from a hospitality background as full training on the family’s specific standards will be provided.
The existing team thrive in a positive and collaborative working environment and are looking forward to welcoming someone who shares their passion and pride in their work.
Reporting to the Head Butler, your day-to-day duties will involve:
* Maintaining rooms to impeccable standards
* Conservation-grade dusting and care of valuable items
* Comprehensive laundry care
* Room refreshes and turndowns
* Assist with dining and drinks service
* Care for outbuildings, pool house, garages, and stores
* Stock ordering and rotation
As well as having a team player personality and a positive outlook, you will need:
* Full driving license and own vehicle
* DBS check
Working Hours:
The family reside in the property around 4 months of the year, this can be for a weekend or a week at a time, when in residence your working hours will be either 8am-4:30pm or 1pm-9pm, Monday to Friday (occasional weekends)
When the family are out of residence your work pattern will be: 8am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday
