Housekeeper

Location: Buckshaw Hospital, Chorley

Hours: 20 hours per week, Part-time, Evening shift

Salary: Depending on experience + Benefits

Summary:

Buckshaw Hospital is the third day case hospital to have been built and opened by Ramsay in the last two years. The new development is located at Matrix Park, Buckshaw Village, Chorley. It is an extension of services offered by Euxton and Fulwood Hall Hospitals. The Ramsay Team at Euxton and Fulwood are incredibly excited about the new hospital, not only does it provide further capacity to treat patients in and around the local area, but it develops the service model we already offer in the North West, delivering the best care and patient experience.

The Role

We are currently looking for a Housekeeper to join our team at Buckshaw Hospital, based in Chorley. You will be working the evening shift.

As a Housekeeper you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained across the Hospital, whilst supporting the wider team members across various departments.

Providing a range of housekeeping dut​ies that will include: Maintaining the required standards of cleanliness by following correct policies, procedures and frequencies. Undertaking a variety of cleaning duties in line with the ward/area/location cleaning schedules (may include operating specialist cleaning equipment).  Carrying out specialist cleaning and one off cleaning duties in line with the Supervisors requirements.  Ensuring that there is a general, pleasant and well maintained environment for patients & visitors.

This is a challenging but rewarding role and would be ideally suited to a motivated team player.  Previous experience in a Housekeeping role is essential and knowledge of COSHH and infection control is also desirable.
