Are you passionate about supporting learners? Dovetail and Slate are an employment business working in partnership with colleges and schools across the UK, is offering exciting Learning Support Assistant opportunities for individuals with experience supporting learners/young adults.

I am working with a SEN/SEMH School in Basingstoke who are looking for a number of support staff for now and Sept

- Learning Support Assistants

- HLTA

- Behaviour Support Officers

Term Time Only - Full Time Hours Available.

Responsibilities:
1:1 and group support of student with addiditonal learning needs

Supporting teachers/lecturers to enure they are inclusive to SEN students

Safeguarding of vulnerable learners

Communicating and supporting deaf or hard of hearing learners

Encouraging positive behaviour and managing behaviour that challenges

Requirements: -
Experience working with SEN children or young adults

OR an extensive Care/social care/Mental Health background

Knowledge of additional learning needs

Up to date Safeguarding training, or willing to obtain.

Enhanced DBS or willing to obtain.
