Key responsibilities
As a Hotel Receptionist, your duties will include:
Welcoming guests and providing a friendly, professional first impression.
Managing check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
Handling guest enquiries in person and over the telephone.
Managing bookings, reservations and guest information.
Processing payments and maintaining accurate records.
Responding to guest requests and helping resolve any issues.
Liaising with other hotel departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.
What we're looking for
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:
Previous reception, front-of-house or customer service experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A professional, approachable and helpful manner.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
The ability to remain calm and efficient in a busy environment.
Good IT skills and the ability to learn new booking systems.
A flexible and reliable approach to work, including short-notice shifts.
