Alfa Leisureplex Group has an opportunity for a Hotel Receptionist to join the team at The Cavendish Hotel, Exmouth.

Hotel Receptionist working hours

As a Hotel Receptionist you will work 20 hours per week over 3 days, including weekends with an hourly rate of £12.00 – Regardless of age!

Being a Hotel Receptionist:

As a Hotel Receptionist you will report the Head Reception and will be part of the central hub of the Hotel operation where first impressions are everything. You will be responsible for setting the tone for the hotel, delivering a first-class customer experience, where the word no does not exist. Your tasks will include checking guests in and out, general enquires and varied administrative tasks, from allocating rooming lists to processing invoices. This is a diverse role which includes professionally handling reception enquiries and being empathetic towards your guests.

Essential Skills:

Experience in a similar role

Strong communication skills

Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanour

Being extremely well organised and computer literate

To be flexible and keep calm under pressure even in challenging situations

Empathy towards individual needs and being a problem solver

Desirable Skills:

Experience in a similar role

Knowledge of the travel, tourism and hospitality industry
