Description:
Our award-winning client is looking for a receptionist on a full-time permanent basis. As a Hotel Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience. This role is 40 hours a week over the space of 5 days including weekend work.
Key Responsibilities
* Greeting guests upon arrival and assisting with their inquiries
* Managing reservations and room assignments
* Processing payments and handling transactions
* Answering phone calls and emails promptly and professionally
* Providing information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
* Resolving guest complaints and concerns in a timely manner
* Maintaining a tidy and organized front desk area
Key Requirements
* Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a hotel environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
* Proficiency in using hotel management software and MS Office Suite
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
* Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Experience Using OPERA will be a benefit but not necessary
