Hospitality Manager – Care Home
Holt, Norfolk
Up to £35,000
I am looking for an experienced Hospitality Manager to work in a brand new purpose-built luxury nursing home. The service is home to 66 residents who have dementia and nursing needs.
Your role will encompass overseeing all aspects of hospitality operations, from ensuring a ‘healthy living’ food service and an engaging activities programme, to making sure that housekeeping and maintenance operations are at the highest level.
In the role of Hospitality Manager you will:
* Create a caring service experience
* Foster a positive work environment emphasizing teamwork, improvement, and top-notch service
* Deliver exceptional experiences for residents, surpassing their needs and expectations
* Oversee food service operations, collaborating closely with the chef for quality meals on time
* Develop engaging activities promoting residents' interests, fun, and well-being
* Maintain a top-notch first impression experience and uphold high cleanliness standards
* Address maintenance issues promptly to keep the facility in good condition
* Manage the hospitality budget to meet revenue targets while controlling costs
* Build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff to enhance community engagement
* Ensure staff are well-trained and equipped for effective performance
* Uphold compliance with regulations, health and safety, and employment laws, maintaining thorough records
For this role you will need:
* Previous experience of hospitality, preferably hotels
* Excellent communication, motivational and people skills
* A genuine interest in engaging our residents and their families on a regular basis.
* Organisational skills with good time keeping
* Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and policies, like employment and health and safety legislation
* The ability to be flexible with working hours as some weekend/evening work may be required on occasion
