TeacherActive are the one of the biggest SEND recruitment agencies and are currently seeking tutors to support the learning and development of children and adults with special needs requiring home tuition. Currently working in partnership with Stoke-on-Trent city council to provide tutors for students aged 6 – 18 that have SEMH needs. They are desperately seeking a positive, enthusiastic Tutor to start immediately with a focus on the core subjects Maths, English, and Science. The hours are flexible, part time and as an SEN Tutor you will be working with students that have SEMH needs, within their home or public setting.

The successful home tutor will have the following:
Experience working with SEND and SEMH
Have a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are welcome to apply
Have a good standard of education
A good understanding of child and adult protection and safeguarding guidelines
Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 basis
