Are you a compassionate and reliable professional looking to make a real difference in your community? Newlands Care Angus Ltd is currently recruiting for Home Care Workers to deliver person-centred care to individuals in their own homes, promoting independence and dignity.
Due to increased demand, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing care team. This role is initially temporary, with strong potential to become permanent (Temp-to-Perm) for the right candidate.

Locations Covered: Arbroath, Montrose, Brechin, Letham, Forfar, Edzell, and surrounding areas in Angus. Candidates must be able to travel between service users' homes.

Pay Rates:

Agency (Temporary) Rates: £18 umbrella per hour on Weekdays | £19 umbrella per hour on Weekends.
Permanent Pay (Upon Transfer): Starting from £13.65 per hour. Note: Higher permanent pay rates are available specifically for female drivers who hold an SVQ and have previous homecare experience in Scotland!.
The Schedule:

Hours: 40 hours per week with flexible shift patterns.
Shift Times: Early Shifts run 06:00 - 15:15 (some starts from 07:30), and Late Shifts run 15:15 - 22:45.
Runs are typically 6-8 hours and include morning, lunch, tea, and bedtime visits. Double shifts may also be available.
Key Duties:

Providing personal care (washing, dressing, grooming) and medication support.
Supporting mobility, safe transfers, meals, and hydration.
Conducting single visits for 1:1 support, double-up visits for complex needs (e.g., hoisting), and sitting services for companionship/respite.
Light household duties and providing emotional support.
Requirements:

A Full UK driving licence is strictly essential (access to your own vehicle is preferred).
Previous care experience is highly desirable, especially in care-at-home settings.
Ability to work flexible shifts.
Please note: Female carers are currently preferred due to specific service user needs.
