We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Department - Music Teacher to lead our vibrant music department.

Role Overview:

As the Head of Department - Music Teacher, you will be responsible for leading and managing the music department, delivering high-quality music education, and inspiring students to develop their musical talents. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the curriculum, overseeing extra-curricular activities, and promoting a culture of musical excellence within the school. This role requires a dynamic and innovative educator with strong leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the music department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective music lessons to students at KS3, KS4, and KS5.
Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans that align with curriculum objectives and the latest educational standards.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
Provide constructive feedback to support students' musical and academic growth.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Music or a related field.
Proven experience teaching Music at secondary level, with a track record of achieving excellent student outcomes.
Strong knowledge of the Music curriculum and current educational practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
