Monday to Friday 8.30am -3.30pm
From £110.00 per day depending on experience
Start November 2026 for approx 12 weeksWe are currently seeking an experienced HLTA/ TA to join our dedicated and friendly team at one of our schools in Wigan. The purpose of the role is to support teaching and learning within the class, supporting teaching staff with their responsibility for the development and education of children. The role requires enthusiasm, hard work and a passion for supporting high quality learning to maximise a child's potential.

You will be supporting as a Teaching assistant in the mornings and stepping up as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant in the afternoons in a mixed Year 1/2 class. This is a full time role Monday to Friday

The Primary School is a 2-form entry school with dedicated staff and supportive SLT.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

Have a real passion of supporting children
Experience of working within KS1
Experience of supporting children on a 1-1 basis
Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
Legal right to work in the UKAs a Teaching Assistant working with us, you will have access to over 2500 CPD courses offered by the National College.
