GSL Education is on the lookout for an experienced and highly skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive team in a primary school in Newcastle upon Tyne. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning activities, covering lessons, and contributing to the development of students.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver planned learning activities in the absence of the teacher, ensuring continuity of learning.
Assist in preparing lesson materials and learning environments.
Support students with special educational needs, providing tailored assistance to facilitate their learning and inclusion.
Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress.
Requirements:
HLTA status or equivalent qualification.
Experience working in a primary school setting.
Strong literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
