Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a friendly and supportive primary school team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential and who can make a positive contribution to teaching and learning across the school.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and school leaders to support high-quality learning experiences for pupils. They will be confident in leading whole-class learning, delivering targeted interventions, and supporting pupils with a range of abilities and needs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead whole-class learning activities in the absence of a teacher

* Plan, prepare, and deliver learning activities under the direction of teaching staff

* Support the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils

* Deliver targeted intervention programmes to individuals and small groups

* Assist in assessing, recording, and monitoring pupil progress

* Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) where required

* Promote positive behaviour and maintain high expectations of all pupils

* Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support pupil achievement

* Contribute to the wider life of the school community

Requirements:

* HLTA status or equivalent relevant qualification and experience

* Experience working within a primary school setting

* Strong literacy, numeracy, and communication skills

* The ability to motivate and inspire children to achieve their best

* Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills

* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

* A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to work
