About the Role:
GSL Education are seeking a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to engage with primary school students in Sheffield. This role grants more responsibility, allowing you to lead classroom activities under the supervision of a teacher and cover lessons as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead whole classes, occasionally, under the guidance and planning of teachers.
Support the educational and social development of students across various age groups.
Assist in preparing lesson materials and maintaining a structured classroom environment.
Work with teachers to evaluate student progress and implement necessary educational strategies.
The successful candidate will:
Be qualified to at least HLTA status with prior experience in a similar role.
Exhibit strong leadership skills and the ability to manage classroom dynamics.
Demonstrate excellent organizational and communicative abilities.
Hold a deep understanding of the primary curriculum and educational strategies.
