Salary: £100 - £110 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream Primary School in Ashington that is committed to providing a nurturing, inclusive and engaging learning environment for all pupils. The school has a supportive leadership team and values collaboration, high expectations and ensuring every child is encouraged to succeed.

The school is looking to appoint a full-time HLTA on a long-term basis with an Immediate Start. The successful HLTA will support teaching and learning across EYFS through to KS2, delivering planned interventions, covering lessons where required and working closely with class teachers to ensure all pupils reach their full potential.

The successful HLTA will have:

HLTA status or an equivalent relevant qualification
Previous experience working within a UK Primary School
Experience supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
Strong classroom management skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A positive, proactive and adaptable approach
