KS3/KS4 History Teacher

BB4 Area, Lancashire | Full-Time | January 2027 Start

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious mainstream secondary school in the BB4 area of Lancashire to recruit a passionate and dedicated History Teacher for a full-time position commencing in January 2027.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented educator to join a supportive humanities department and deliver engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The school prides itself on high standards, strong leadership, and creating an environment where both students and staff can thrive.

The Role:

Deliver high-quality History lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Plan, prepare and assess engaging lessons that inspire a love of learning.
Monitor and support student progress, raising attainment where required.
Contribute positively to the wider Humanities department.
Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
The Ideal Candidate:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Has experience teaching History within a UK secondary school setting.
Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for History.
Is committed to achieving the best outcomes for all learners.
ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply.

Competitive daily rates of pay in line with experience and qualifications.
