Are you a passionate and dedicated History Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable History Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Wakefield on a full-time supply basis from January.

The Role
Full-time History Teacher position
January start
Teaching History across Key Stages 3 and 4
Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
Monitoring and supporting student progress
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Contributing to departmental planning and school life where appropriate
Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching History within a UK secondary school setting
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for History
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
The ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
Strong communication and organisational skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
