Description:

Milk Education are working with a school in Southwark who are seeking a Humanities Teachers on a part-time basis to join their thiriving Humanities department. The working hours for this role are Wednesday to Friday, 8:30 - 3:30pm until the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

* To be responsible for high quality teaching and learning at KS3 & KS4
* To be accountable for the progress and attainment of assigned pupils
* To support the school’s aims and objectives and to implement school policies and procedures

Required Skills & Experience:

* Be able to teach Humanities through the Key Stages
* Be an excellent classroom practitioner (or, for new teachers, have the potential to be)
* Be innovative and experimental in their teaching
* Be able to stretch and challenge able students to achieve highly
* Have the ability to communicate effectively with all staff, students and parents
