Northampton
£30,000 – £37,000 + Progression + Benefits
NEOS Engineering are currently working with a well-established and highly respected plant hire business who are looking for a Hire Controller to join the team in Northampton.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience within plant hire, tool hire, powered access, accommodation hire or builders merchants looking to join a busy and professional operation with genuine long-term progression opportunities.
The successful candidate will play a key role within the depot, supporting customers, coordinating hires and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the hire desk.
The Role
• Managing incoming hire enquiries via phone and email
• Organising plant and equipment hires
• Coordinating transport and logistics
• Building relationships with existing and new customers
• Supporting engineers, drivers and depot operations
• Raising contracts, off-hires and invoices
• Ensuring high levels of customer service at all times
The Candidate
• Previous experience within plant hire, tool hire, powered access, accommodation hire or similar industries
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good IT and administration skills
• Motivated, professional and customer-focused attitude
The Package
• £30,000 – £37,000 depending on experience
