Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm
Salary: Up to £30,000
Our client is seeking a Hire Controller to join their busy hire desk based in Haddenham. As a Hire Controller, you will play a crucial role in delivering an industry-leading customer experience. Your main responsibilities will include:
Managing incoming customer telephone and email enquiries
Creating, delivering, and following up on customer quotations
Negotiating the commercial elements of proposed solutions with customers
Converting incoming purchase orders and ensuring equipment availability
Creating customer contracts and coordinating timely delivery
Working closely with field sales to identify potential opportunities
Managing key customer accountsEssential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Previous experience as a Hire Controller or in a similar quoting role
Commercial awareness and negotiation skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Customer service skills
Proficiency in different software systemsDesirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Plant hire industry experience
Technical knowledge
