Highways Foreman (Must Have Highways Passport)

We are currently recruiting for a Foreman, for one of our Highway Civils Contractors.

We will need you to have

First Aid, SMSTS or SSSTS. Highways Passport. Temp Works Ticket.

Duties include:

The Highway Foreman is responsible for leading a safe, compliant, and efficient road crew. Planning, supervising and coordinating daily highway department operations and projects. Also responsible for coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors, recruiting, hiring, training, managing and mentoring employees and contractors. The Foreman is responsible for directing work crews on highway, buildings, maintenance and cemetery projects, performing skilled manual labor and operating public works equipment.

You must have the right to work in the UK, and provide working references.
