Highway Inspector

Description:

This is a contract position, where you will have the opportunity to work in the field of highway inspection, ensuring the safety and quality of road networks.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular inspections of highways to identify any defects or maintenance requirements
Record and report on findings, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
Collaborate with maintenance teams to coordinate repair work and ensure timely completion
Monitor compliance with safety regulations and report any potential risks
Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance strategies
Provide guidance and support to contractors, ensuring quality standards are met
Keep up to date with industry best practices and recommend improvements to processes
Maintain accurate documentation and records of inspections, findings, and actions taken

Job Requirements:

Significant experience in highway inspection or a related field
Strong knowledge of highway infrastructure and maintenance practices
Understanding of relevant regulations and safety standards
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Proficient in using inspection tools and software
Full driving license
