Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Producing highway engineering designs from feasibility through to detailed design stage

Highway drainage design and associated calculations
Traffic signs, road markings, pavement, fencing, and VRS design

Experience with specialist highway design software (e.g. Infodrainagefor drainage design)
Familiarity with traffic signs & road markings, pavement, fencing, and VRS design
Experience preparing Specifications for Highway Works

Real career progression - a clear pathway to take on increased responsibility and develop towards Chartership
Sector variety - exposure to highways works within rail, power & energy, and traditional highway environments
Hybrid working - a genuine flexible model splitting time between office and home
Social culture - active social groups, team events, and a genuine work/life balance ethos
Competitive package - salary, benefits, and development budget commensurate with experience
