Our client, a respected Local Authority in London, is seeking a Highway Development Control Consultant to join their dedicated team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing specialized engineering assessment and advice for highway development control services and sections 278/38 applications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct specialist engineering assessments and offer expert advice for highway development control services and sections 278/38 applications.
* Collaborate closely with developers to ensure adherence to regulations and standards.
* Monitor on-site works to guarantee compliance with approved plans and specifications.
* Support the technical evaluation and processes associated with Section 38 and Section 278 Highways Agreements.
* Negotiate and provide responses to developers to secure financial contributions via s278 and s38 agreements.
The role is a hybrid role (1-2 days/week) & The rate is circa £40-45/hr (Inside IR35)
