Higher Level Teaching Assistant

ASAP Start - Harrow

Full Time

Reeson Education is working with a well-respected and inclusive primary school in Harrow London that is looking to recruit a confident and capable higher level teaching assistant to step up into the role of Higher Level Teaching Assistant for 4 days out of 5 - Tuesday to Friday.

This is a great opportunity for anyone with an interest in supporting children's learning and development, and a comittment to helping every child thrive in a nurturing and ambitious school community, not to mention that lon weekend.

Key Responsibilities of this Higher Level Teaching Assistant role:

Cover PPA time, while the regular teachers plan, you will be in charge of their classes
Provide targeted support for children with a range of needs

Work collaboratively with teachers and colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Support the school's values around anti-racism, equity and community engagement

The Ideal Candidate for this Higher Level Teaching Assistant vacancy:

A positive, resilient and caring approach to working with children

A team player who is reliable, enthusiastic and proactive

Experience working with primary-aged children is essential

A firm but fair approach to behaviour management
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Teaching Assistance or equivalent experience working with special needs children.
