We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our vibrant Supply Desk team for a Primary School in Merthyr. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the educational development of primary school students in a supportive and enriching environment.
Role Overview: As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning process within the school. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in planning and delivering lessons under the guidance of the class teacher.
Providing one-on-one or small group support to students who may require additional assistance.
Leading interventions and enrichment activities to enhance the learning experience.
Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to contribute to the school's educational goals.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should possess:
Relevant qualifications and/or experience in education.
A passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and EWC registration (or willling to apply)
Knowledge of the primary school curriculum and teaching methods.
