About the role:
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play a pivotal role in supporting the learning and development of students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. From assisting with lesson planning and curriculum delivery to providing one-on-one support and leading small group activities, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the classroom every day.
Application Requirements:
• Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools is not necessary but beneficial.
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA in a primary school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents/carers.
• A passion for education and a commitment to continuous professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• Provide targeted support to students with special educational needs or English as an additional language.
• Lead small group activities and interventions to reinforce learning objectives and enhance student progress.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
