About the role:

Are you an experienced and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant primary school setting? We have an exciting opportunity in Barnet, London for an HLTA to join our committed team and support the learning and development of our students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Application Requirements:

• HLTA status or equivalent qualification is highly beneficial.

• Proven experience working within a primary school environment, particularly across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

• Strong literacy and numeracy skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

• Sound understanding of the national curriculum and strategies to support student learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, preparing, and delivering learning activities for individuals, groups, or whole classes under the direction and supervision of the class teacher.

• Monitor and evaluate pupils’ responses to learning activities, providing feedback to students and teachers.

• Manage classroom behavior, maintaining a positive learning environment, and ensuring students adhere to the school's policies.

• Organise and manage appropriate learning environments and resources.

• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your professional skills and stay current with educational practices.
